This is a superset of VGA capabilities. It provides users with the same basic capabilities as VGA, plus some differences in resolutions:
• 640 X 480 pixels in 256 colors (8-bit graphics)
• 800 X 600 pixels in 16 colors (4-bit graphics)
• 1024 X 768 pixels in 256 colors (8-bit graphics)
Super VGA is not an IBM product. It is a graphics standard developed by third-parties.
